Paneer Stuffed Besan Cheela is a breakfast cuisine one of those dishes which is high in taste and health.  Superly delicious paneer filling in the besan cheela has been one of my favorite dishes since childhood .it will definitely be loved by kids like it a great jumble of health and taste.

For paneer stuffing

  • Grated paneer 2 cups
  • Chopped tomatoes
  • Chopped cucumber
  • Chopped capsicum
  • Salt (according to taste)
  • Chaat masala 1tbsp
  • White pepper 3/4 tbsp
  • Green chilies 2
  • Coriander 3-4

For cheela batter

  • Gram flour (besan) 2 cups
  • Salt (according to taste)
  • Asafoetida
  • Red chili
  • A pinch of roasted turmeric
  • Coriander leaves (finely chopped)
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Water (as required)


  • Add all ingredients of paneer stuffing to a bowl and mix well.
  • Keep it aside.
  • Then take another bowl, add gram flour, salt, asafoetida, red chilla, roasted turmeric, coriander leaves and mix well (avoid lumps) till the batter gets smoothened.
  • Now, brush some oil to the pan, add a scoop of batter in the center of pan.
  • Spread the batter evenly in a regular circular motion.
  • Drizzle some oil to the ends of cheela and let the cheela cook for the next 1 min.
  • Flip the cheela so that it can be cooked from another side also.
  • Place the stuffing when the cheela is cooked, fold the cheela.
  • Serve it with tomato ketchup.
